Project statement

I think that nowadays we spend little time concentrating on our inner selves, being conscious in the present and paying attention to our emotions has become tiring, due to the frenetic pace of modern society and the era we live in, characterized by perfectionism and constant digital connection. My project aims to be a response to this stress, a message suggesting a change in negative thought patterns, focusing on spirituality and calm. For this reason I draw inspiration from the sixth chakra, one of the energy centers of the human body, connected to intuition and wisdom, using only indigo blue, the color associated with it. To paint I use a peacock tail feather, considered an animal linked to the spirit and rich in deep meanings, thanks to which I create instinctive shapes that give an impression of movement and emotional freedom. Each painting creates a unique atmosphere, the observer has the right to freely interpret what he sees, letting himself be guided by his own sensations, catalyzing attention on the depth of color and the emblematic message it conveys, to give space to tranquility and the deepest part of himselves, like a meditative quest.
